Research Associate @ the Waseda Institute of Asia Pacific Studies, Waseda University

I am passionate about studying food security issues in developing nations.

As a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tokyo, I have been extremely fortunate to receive the mentorship of two very distinguished and compassionate professors - Professor Yasuyuki Sawada and Professor Michal Fabinger.

In collaboration with Professor Fabinger, I am currently analyzing the spatial integration of markets for food staples in developing countries. We hope that through our work, we will be able to alleviate problems of food scarcity in geographical markets which are rural and hard to access.

In a nutshell, we hope to be able to contribute to the formulation of policies which will deliver food from where it is in surplus, to where people are malnourished.
